The Utah Association of Mortgage Professionals (UAMP) website is designed to provide mortgage professionals with information and tools to assist in the business of mortgage lending. As a participant in our web site, each selected mortgage professional agrees with and is committed to the UAMP's policies for privacy.
The UAMP has created this Privacy Statement in order to demonstrate our commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for the UAMP Web site. As this Statement may be revised from time to time, please check back periodically. To provide registered access to our site, mortgage professionals must provide personal and company name, e-mail and street addresses, telephone numbers, and other data. All of this information is stored in a secure manner and is not accessible through the Internet. We respect your privacy and value your trust in the UAMP. We do everything in our power to earn your confidence so that you can enthusiastically participate in our services.
We may collect the names or addresses of non-registered visitors to the UAMP web site. We do request and store the names, e-mail and street addresses, telephone numbers, and other information for customers. This information may be transmitted to UAMP members and member organizations that support the UAMP's goals and privacy policies. We may publicly reveal general, non-personal data about the UAMP Web site, such as number of visitors, number of subscribers, number of submissions, etc. The UAMP Web site collects no personally identifying information about individuals except when specifically and knowingly provided by such individuals.
In addition, UAMP's site may place a "cookie" in the browser files of a user's computer. The cookie itself does not contain any personally identifying information although it will enable the site to relate a user's use of the site to information that the user has specifically and knowingly provided to the UAMP.
The UAMP restricts access to the information you provide to those employees who need to know that information in order to provide our information and services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to guard your non-public personal information. Any changes to our privacy promise will be communicated through the UAMP web site at least 10 days in advance of implementation. Information collected before changes are made will be secured according to the old privacy policy.

Text Messaging (SMS) Communications
The UAMP may use your mobile phone number to send you text message (SMS) communications related to your membership, upcoming events, renewal reminders, association announcements, and other UAMP-related information. Your mobile phone number is collected and stored in a secure manner consistent with the data security practices described in this Privacy Statement.
Consent
Text message communications are sent only to individuals who have provided explicit, voluntary consent. Consent is collected through UAMP membership application forms, membership renewal forms, and event registration forms. Providing consent to receive text messages is entirely optional and is never required as a condition of membership or event registration. By opting in, you agree to receive recurring text messages from the UAMP at the mobile number you provide.
How We Use Your Mobile Number
Your mobile phone number is used solely for the purpose of sending UAMP-related text communications for which you have provided consent. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your number may be shared with our text messaging service provider solely for the purpose of delivering messages on behalf of the UAMP, and such providers are contractually required to protect your information.
Opting Out
You may opt out of receiving text messages from the UAMP at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. You may also update your communication preferences by logging into your member profile on the UAMP website or by contacting us directly. Once you opt out, your mobile number will be removed from our active text messaging list and you will receive no further text messages, except a one-time confirmation of your opt-out. Opting out of text messages does not affect your membership status or your receipt of other UAMP communications such as email.
Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. The UAMP is not responsible for any charges assessed by your mobile carrier for the receipt of text messages. Message frequency will vary based on association activity and events.
